I've promised that I would use this blog, almost as a documentation -- to keep up with that my goals with decorating, clothing and whatnot are.
First things first --- can I just say that I am completely in LOVE with ornate patterns and good quality stuff? Etsy is quickly becoming of my favorite websites.
It gives vendors a chance to sell their handmade items to the world. How awesome!! I also am completely addicted to anthropologies website -- simply because their stuff is so ME. I have actually ever ordered anything from them, because they are so expensive Pricey, yes. But-- it's an investment that is almost worth making. :)
Lets start with the DINING ROOM! One of my very favorite parts of decorating...and its the most simple.
I absolutely LOVE polish pottery. It's unique and is all hand painted and 'baked'. Although its recommended against using in the microwave and stove top, It works wonderfully in the oven and can be used in the dishwasher.
I am a polish pottery addict. I still have MUCH to buy but -- we will get there when we get there. ;-) hehe
Now, right now, I have a beautiful table cloth that I got from the mother in-law, and I love it -- it's handmade lace but -- I do love some ot
her VERY cool table runners.
I love the mismatched, --organized chaos -- as one might say :)
I am thinking a counter-height dining room table...dark wood --pretty much what I already have...
This is just part 1 of several for the kitchen/dining room area.
